I haven't seen one turned into a dedicated car hauler. But, rafting companies around where I live do the same thing and haul rafts on the back.

Don't know where this one is, but there are probably a good dozen like it near Wilmington, NC. that I've seen. It's a thing.

I've always wanted to make a school bus RV. Seems like a great project with lots of learning to be had.

Probably cheaper too. I've seen used school buses for sale for under $10k.
